Getting Around
The village of Kapparis is small enough to walk round, and you are never very far from shops, cafes, the beach, restaurants etc.
Hiring a car is the most advisable way to get around the island and there is a road map and a ‘Days Out’ book in the apartment which you are welcome to borrow. The roads are generally in good condition, and driving is on the left as in the UK. Distances are all in km, and the maximum speed on the island is 100km/h.
Alternatively, there are local buses and taxis, but there are no trains on the island.
